The Vatican has moved swiftly to 'pull' 6000 papal medals from circulation, declaring that the Pope's infallible status remains firmly intact in spite of the embarrassing misspelling of the name of a certain Jesus.
"It was always the plan" claimed a Vatican spokesman, "We know full well how to spell the name of our jord, sorry, I mean lord. We simply used this as an exercise to test you all and frankly, you have failed! It took days for anyone to notice, and that's amongst the Catholic fraternity!!"
"It's embarrassing, I hope you are all very disappointed with yourselves" he continued, "we are going to have to seriously review and re-energise how we spread the word of God... and of course check who we get to do the type setting"
