After 20 years of practising medicine, Dr Hans Warmer has revealed he is still no closer to being perfect.
"I was always under the impression that one practices to improve one's skills and knowledge, until one attains a standard high enough to then actually 'do' whatever activity it is that one is practicing to do" Said Dr Warmer, of The 'Wish I Could' Practice, Surbiton.
"Turns out, 20 years down the line, and I am still practicing! If my patients find out, how will they respect me? I am no better at anything, apart from my golf!"
"I mean, what other profession sees individuals earning lots of money but still practising??" Dr Warmer asked, before adding "Well ok, so lawyers practice, but then nobody likes them anyway, and besides, it is obvious they are still practising because they are always taking part in trials!"
