Yet another so-called city barrister has been exposed in London. The fraudster has confessed that he was in fact a former employee of Costa Coffee in Grimsby. Talking exclusively to us at The Daily Mail, where we guaranteed his anonymity, Benjamin Bastoli confessed that he had originally applied to make the coffee and tea at the well known City lawyers Goth Squires. " It's not my fault that they misread the word 'barista'" he claimed.
Mr Bastoli had practised as a barrister for the firm for more than 5 years without being discovered. When asked for a statement, a spokesman for Goth Squires, who specialize in defending warlocks accused of the black arts, admitted that "I suppose we should have been suspicious when he lost his first 57 cases, but he does make a great espresso. We will make no further comment until we find a proper lawyer which we're having a bit of difficulty with at the moment."
In his defence Mr Bastoli protested that at least he did not lie about his school record and claims that a confirmatory letter is on its way from his former school, Rhodean.
