Good points from both Sinnick and b-j.
Given that God is Jewish (although not necessarily Christian) why does Islam not condemn him as an infidel? Does rather cofirm the views of both Dawkins and me that the whole issue is a total load of bollocks.
But regarding the more immediate matter of Miliband and his daddy: critics are trying to suggest that the wicked Daily Mail spontaneously went out of their way unwarrantedly to dig out private information and secrets about someone who had not been in the public spotlight. In fact however Miliband loved banging on, very publicly, about his father, his father's influence on his own philosophy and politics, and his father's status as a poor persecuted refugee.
That does not place Miliband Junior in a strong position to object to a public scrutiny of his father's politics and other views, including his father's status as a devout and committed Marxist. Those who live by media publicity shall die by media publicity, and someone who seeks to pick-and-choose which stories the news media should be allowed to publish about himself and his family is not a perfect choice of individual to dictate how the news media should be regulated.
