A vicious rumour has been charged with two counts of murder after a fight in the Grape Vine pub on the outskirts of Lye ended with the death of two Chinese whispers.
The Chinese whispers had recently moved to the area and were relatively unknown, but it is thought they had travelled from town to town before settling outright in Lye. Accurate details are difficult to verify, but reports have come in that the whispers 'sat on a floppy washing machine' and 'played a seal as a keyboard'.
A Grape Vine pub regular, Tall Story, said the vicious rumour had a history of violent and cruel behaviour. He told reporters: 'The gossip is that the Chinese whispers slandered the vicious rumour, but that's just hearsay'. Hearsay declined to comment.
A local hairdresser and shopkeeper are being investigated for aiding and abetting the vicious rumour.
