Unemployed people up and down the country have demanded Members of Parliament start working for their money. Their initiative comes as another party's MPs gather for a four day jolly whilst being paid by the taxpayer.
"We're not saying all MPs are lazy" a spokesman for the unemployed told us. "Some of them work up to four hours a month for six-figure salaries in the private sector, but we are calling for them to do something for the £65.7k a year the public pay them."
Defending MPs, George Osborne said: "although it may look like we do very little for our MP's salary, I can assure you behind the scenes we work very hard. Do you know how much paperwork we have to fill out just to claim expenses?"
