BDSM specialist dungeon "Tight Corners" based in Little Fiddling in Hampshire were shocked to find their special bondage dungeon had been booked by the local WI for cream teas with scones.
"We were horrified that our tastefully decorated house of pain would be abused for something as sordid as a tea party", said the owners Dave and Patrica Wellford, "and what would the neighbours think?"
The chairperson of the Little Fiddling WI chapter, Claire Mowell, admitted that the dungeon had been booked under false pretences but said that "the ladies of the WI thought it would make a lovely tea-room once the place had been aired a bit and bouquets of flowers hung everywhere, because there a lots of hooks to hang the baskets from and plenty of ropes to display paintings and used clothes for sale"
The vicar of Little Fiddling saw both sides in an effort to mediate. "It is a delicate area of personal freedom" said the Reverend Bailey, as he sat slowly and carefully on his heavily cushioned sofa "but we must respect the notion that some private places would be ruined by doilies and cream cakes and offers of Earl Grey tea, particularly at 3 in the morning after a brutal flogging, erm, so I've been told"
