Social workers, teachers and doctors all put on sad faces after the report into Daniel Pelka's murder, before demanding more money for their continuing incompetence and neglect.
A spokeswoman said later: 'Let me be quite honest about this. It will happen again and again and again because frankly nobody cares. When abusive parents tell us that their child has broken bones because he or she fell off the settee we will believe them because it's to much trouble not too. And when teachers see children come to school with bruises, they will put on their special glasses so that they don't see them.'
Another spokeswoman said: 'The previous spokeswoman has been sacked for telling the truth. What she should have said was Oh dear oh dear how sad, must never happen again, enquiry, lessons learnt, hypocritical bollocks like that. Now go away, because I need to take the next six months off with a stress-related illness.'
