I have been stuck away from Fleet Street these past couple of weeks, but the pub is Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. It has a number of bars. Unsure which one to meet up in, but I can offer the following evidence: http://fernandosbassoon.blogspot.com/2009/12/newsbiscuit-night-out-in-chandos.html as an example of what people who write for newsbiscuit might look like. I am the one in the red tie.

Maybe, on walking into whichever bar seems best, we could all exclaim as loudly as possible: "My Ass Hurts!", in Rikkor's honour.

Or failing that, I'll be the one next to Mary Evans.

Hoorah, btw! I know stunts, sauce, jeni and jp annoyingly can't come, but I assume that everyone else can? Plucky, have you conquered your dread of the underground railway? I'll be extremely disappointed if you're not there. And everyone else, of course.

Can't wait to have a beer with the biscuity crowd!

Hi, Mr Well! I won't be able to make it, unfortunately. Not because of any fear of underground transportation, but because of money and my shoulder not healing.

I hope it is a great night out, that you all get pissed as farts and that, one day, I can meet everyone. Lots of love to all, Plucky. xxx

I intend to walk around each bar and mumble 'newsbiscuit'.
This, however, is not something extraordinary where alochol is involved. I might also be the person sitting in the corner counting to ten with the aid of my fingers.

Shame, I'd have liked to have met the Annoyingly family. Stunts, sauce, jeni and jp could be the perfect foursome for a NewsBiscuit family-based sitcom.

Look for the woman with the extremely large tummy. It might not be me, but I rather like the thought of random Biscuiteers accosting fat women and accusing them of anally smuggling organic chickens out of Waitrose...

In earnest, as the only sober person at the Chandos, I know what enough of you look like to hunt you down. And I am vastly pregnant, so I would make an excellent landmark. I'll be there discussing the preferred cheese of the badger community with Mr Westwell from 5.30 and staring in disgust at my sparkling mineral water.
