I'll award some stars for the "Morose soon... "
Thank you sir... one of my finer moments on NB
I like that too!
Here's how it begins:
I was born on 22nd May 1959. I was so miserable when I was born that I cried. My mother made me miserable. The hospital was miserable. When she took me home I was so miserable. What's the point of me telling you this? What's the point of anything? The fact that I have always made everyone miserable makes me miserable. I wish I could make someone - what's the opposite of miserable?
Each book will come with free cyanide pills.
Ha, I suspect that pretty much sums it up.
I heard he smiled once, but turned out to be wind.
That made him miserable too.
Well lots of his lyrics make me laugh (You're The One For Me, Fatty is a good example) and I reckon he was taking the piss out of those who liked to portray him as miserable when he wrote stuff like Girlfriend In A Coma and Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now.
Morose soon is a good line though.
