Organisers of the London Arms Fair were shocked to discover that there were weapons on sale which could hurt people.
A spokesman for the organisers, Ian McCullough, said: 'Walking round the stands we were appalled to see that some exhibitors were openly selling things like guns, ammunition, rockets, missiles, mortars, shells and bombs.
'Naturally this was completely unacceptable, especially as all the companies concerned are foreign, so we've kicked them out.
'All that remains now are the British firms which are selling perfectly acceptable instruments of torture to Saudi Arabia, Zimbabwe, Russia and other enlightened democracies. We are fully committed to supporting British businesses, no questions asked, if you know what I mean.'
