Golgo, I hope that you're covering the costs yourself and not taking them out of the sponsorship money.

A fuck-all-athon. Magnificent, and truly inspirational.
Unfortunately, so inspirational, I can't be arsed to give any money.
So now we have a two horse race - fernandomando at 36% and Golgo at 40% of target donations - fernandomando trailing despite having more donors. Fernando suffering from the decision to set a much more ambitious fund-raising goal, Golgo cleverly relying on ennui.
Anyone care to open a book?
Thanks for those that gave their money and support. For those who didn't, 90 miles on a bicycle is a painful experience and you will be pleased to know that I suffered a little.

Well done sir.
I'm still thinking about when I'll be doing sod all for charity. Maybe best not to be too specific, but it'll be some time this year.
The arbitrary period I set myself to do nothing for charity has now ended (it seems...I had forgotten about it, to be honest) and so I got this nice letter from Shelter to thank me (and all those who sponsored me) for my complete lack of effort. I thought I'd share:-
Thank you so much for doing nothing in aid of Shelter. Thanks to your hard work you’ve raised an incredible £40 – well done! This is an incredible amount! Your generosity will really help make a difference to Shelter’s work with homeless and badly housed people throughout the UK, and we are so grateful that you chose to support Shelter.
It's the spirit of Christmas...
Well done Golgo.
So sitting in a bath full of baked beans is a regular thing then?
Can we have more fund raising arguments like this, please.Posted 3 months ago #
