Plucky, sorry to hear the shoulder's still giving you trouble.
I'm currently sitting in the Coventry Travelodge ahead of a long day covering a soldier's funeral tomorrow - so things could be better!
As for the tube - what you listening out for? I keep going back for the same thing - Misty Morning, Albert Bridge by the Pogues, probably my all-time favourite track

I'm fine thanks Plucky, had a day off today, but spent my time visiting the children at the school I worked at previously, and then Parents' Evening at the young master's school. Fortunately for him, I was delighted to learn that he has made great progress in class and the only cause for concern is his handwriting and presentation.
Just ironed a pile of shirts for the men in my life, and now having a late dinner/supper before having another early night.
Hope the shoulder eases soon.
Oh, and the Camille Sant-Saëns song which is my favourite, was the one sung by the mice in "Babe". Terribly low-brow of me I know.

Sorry to hear about all your ailments . . .
But man, you all know how to moan, don't you? I'm off to hospital tomorrow morning for an orthoscopy on my knee, but do I complain? Do I hell! Nil by mouth from midnight, not even a fag or two to bolster my shaking nerves.
Woe! Woe! Thrice times Woe!
(at least I get a week off work).

I wasn't moaning. I was delighted to see the children I used to work with. I got lots of hugs,and a few even asked me if I would go back to work there. And then to hear that my son isn't slacking at school was a real boost, as I'd been preparing myself to give him a bollocking.
Hope the knee thing goes well. And I'll have a few fags for you...

Jeni, thanks for that Masterhug. It has had the desired effect and I am feeling good after my mini-op. If I knew how, I'd post a photo of the bit they removed from my knee, but take it from me, it's about the size of the end of my thumb. Fortunately it wasn't any bigger, or they would have left me with just a STUMP!
Thanks to other well-wishers too - and I trust that the munky shoulder is on the mend. Wouldn't you find it a boon, Plucky, with only one good typing/clicking hand, if there was a "Back to Forum" button at the bottom of every thread? Perhaps that wonderfully niceadminlady could investigate and oblige - I'm wearing out my scroll wheel!
