British Home Stores new membership rules "indirectly" discriminate against Poundstretchers and Lidl shoppers, the UK equalities watchdog has told a court hearing. The High street store may have to open its doors to people who want to pay less than it cost to manufacture the goods. Support for BHS came from the Chinese confederation of Bri-Nylon producers as well as The Moccasin producers of Taiwan.
British Home Stores have 186 stores in The United Kingdom, employ over 17,000 staff, many of our parents have shopped there, or they know someone who has.
