Commentators have applauded the fashion world today for its efforts in bringing the whole darn fracking business to a wider and more elegant audience.
Phillippe Le Fevre, independent fashion forecaster, particularly praised the outerwear produced by the likes of Fendi and Chanel. He highlighted Chanel’s modern take on the quintessentially British mackintosh – renamed Le Frackintosh or “Le Frack” – and was fairly giddy with glee at Fendi’s return to the 80s with their badger trimmed Fracking Jacket.
Le Fevre lamented the inevitable trickle down of the new trend to lower grade retailers stating that George at Asda are already stocking a wipe clean, “wash at 30” frack suit. Rumours that the Women’s Institute have introduced a “frack-a-mac” into their Christmas gift catalogue have so far been unsubstantiated.
