Due to a clerical error in Madrid last week, Spain & Morocco are locked in a bitter diplomatic row over former England rugby player Mark Cueto. Tensions are running high, with Moroccan troops massing outside his High Wycombe home, and Spanish naval forces builing up their presence on the local boating lake. The British government, who have taken on the role of peace-brokers in the stand off, have referred the case to the U.N. and the IRFU. Mr. Cueto, 34, is bemused by the attention and asserts his right to self-determination as guaranteed by the UN charter.
