In Durham Bar last night former Yorkshire and England was threaten by several helmeted players.
The incident took place in the Gazza Arms in the high street and it was rumoured a well know spin bowler carried out a drive bye Urine soaked attack.
Afterwards Boycott 84 was surrounded by a group of Anglo Australians who prodded and probed the star whilst threatening to hit him with a straight bat.
One cricketer who only wanted to be identified as KP said “He constantly whinges about my aggressive play well I will show him bloody aggression when I put that hat right up his silly mid on”, An Aussie batsman was heard to remark “This is the second Yorkshire man I’ve hit in a bar, but this worth a ban”
Former cricketers were quick to condemn the attack Ian Botham told reporter “I would have used my feet more”, David Gower lamented how the punches didn’t flow like they did when he used to bar fight his butler, Phil Tufnell didn’t know what day it was, whilst the Test Match special team were rumoured to be doing Hash Cake in the men’s room.
This latest incident comes straight after Boycott received and ASBO at the Old Trafford Test for incitement and hate crimes when he made disparaging comments about James Anderson in swinging balls.
