Social networking sites have acted against cyber bullying by promising to ban losers who cannot take a joke from joining.
Originally, the sites were planning to increase staff to police their content more thoroughly but as cost spiraled, they decided to save money by eliminating the complaining users.
‘We want the world to know we take the issue of cyber bullying seriously,’ said a spokesperson for Twitter. ‘We do not think that women should have to deal with another member threatening to rape them so we have blocked all females from logging in. That way they never see the messages and we never have to listen to their crying’
‘I think it’s a good decision,’ said Facebook user Jason, ‘my freedom of speech has come under attack and I’m sick of it. I go online to escape from reality and consequence, not for sour pusses to force me to conform to basic human decency. If someone can’t handle me telling them to kill themselves twenty times a day then they shouldn't be allowed an internet connection.’
