The news of royal footman Badar Azim being sent back to India has caused panic in the Royal Palaces HR department. Badar seen recently putting the royal baby announcement up outside Buckingham Palace was one of the numerous 'non-white' faces seen around the royal family recently. Be it the Jubilee or the Olympics there are teams of ethnic employees on hand to show that Her Majesty's staff have only 5% white Anglo-Saxons in line with certain parts of inner-city London.
The search is already on for a replacement, preferably who'll fit in the same suit. Meanwhile the Duke of Edinburgh is still bedridden with apoplexy caused by the sea of dark faces in the palace.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan police confirmed there were no staffing shortages in the 'black copper who stands right in front of the Queen for photographs' department.
