And why not? It might wake a few of 'em up - there certainly are some rubbish hospitals / departments / wards out there. I know - I've seen 'em in action, torturing and starving my 91-year-old aunt to death in a brand-new Birmingham hospital.
And I'd also give high praise where it's due, like most of my own treatment, from my excellent GP through to surgery, nursing and rehab, in fields ranging from audiology, orthopaedic surgery and plastic surgery to heart bypass surgery.
I think you would find all that would happen would be more nurses would be sacked to pay for a "Director of Patient Experience" and his "Experience Enhancement Team", and the cleaning budget would be diverted into clipboards.
Nice idea, but the downside is that the patients with the worst experiences, i.e. dead ones, are unlikely to give feedback. Take 5.
@FOAD: maybe - but I think Ann Clwyd would confirm that their next-of-kin might have strong opinions to express.
