A Lincoln businessman is considering changing the name of his city centre takeaway just two weeks after first opening its doors to the public, saying he is sick and tired of telling people "about nine hundred times a day, no, we do not sell sodding falafels."
Steve Falafel, owner of 'Mr Falafel' on Silver Street, says he is baffled as to why people would think he sells the deep fried Middle Eastern chickpea-based fritters when it's "clear to anyone with half a brain we're in the business of serving nice tasty burritos."
When asked if he'd thought of simply naming the premises 'Mr Burrito' instead Mr. Falafel seemed unimpressed by the suggestion,
"Yeah, great idea. Then I'd have idiots asking me every five minutes if Mr Burrito was my real name and I'd be back to square one. You just can't win."
