The irritating noise in the background of the World Cup matches is NOT the sound of African football horns, but a swarm of angry bees accidently exported to South Africa when the BBC satalite truck stopped for quick bacon sarny at Number 26 Arcadia Street, en-route to the ferry terminal.
Mr Browning, from Number 28, had mistaken the BBC sign on the side of the van for the local Bee keeper and had encouraged his rogue swarm to take up residence in the airvents.
African officials are now aware of the problem and have said the swarm can stay, as long as they are wild bees. "Wild?" said Mr Browning, "Last time I saw them they were bloody furious!" (boom boom)
