Mandella 'Critical' - Complains About Way His Ward Is Decorated

Winnie won't like this, you know.
Wasn't it Oscar Wilde's last words which were allegedly "Either those curtains go, or I do" ?
Why's that then...too white?
Stars from me!
Typo: "Mandela"; also needs "the" somewhere.
(but I am appropriately ashamed of myself.)
Apologies to the great man for mis-speling his name.
(Long may he continue to criticise, though sadly this seems unlikely.)
I am always intrigued by the conventions of the phraseology of medical reports and the use of euphemisms. I am reminded of a story that following the overnight death in hospital of some arch-criminal, the authorities described his condition the next day as "satisfactory".
In this case, 'critical' clearly = "well dodgy" but no-one (at least, no-one in authority) like to use such negative-sounding words.
