Following the revelation that the DNA of Princes Harry and William contains elements of Indian origin, scientists have delved further into Harry’s genome to lay to rest persistent rumours that he is not really part of the Royal family. Taking a sample of Harry’s DNA from traces left in a lap dancing club, the boffins were able to prove unequivocal matrilineal descent from both Charles II of England and Henry IV of France, a royal genetic legacy he shares with Prince William. A Palace spokeman said ‘we hope this finally stops people calling him the ginger bastard. I myself would describe him as strawberry blonde’.
