Extra safety netting is being installed behind each goal at the Rustenburg stadium in South Africa, ahead of England's opening game of the 2010 World Cup against the United States.
It's not because violence is anticipated, but to protect fans on both sides from wayward american shots on goal.
The US Coach Bob Bradley confirmed this afternoon his team has been working with the United States Air Force to improve their accuracy when shooting.
"It seems to have worked, as Clint Dempsey and Jozy Altidore are now missing only by a matter of yards" he told reporters. "And bearing in mind how accurate the USAF is, that's a huge improvement."
