I'll give you 5 stars if you add an 's' to trip ;0)
There you go, I'm a man of my word! ;0)
Like it. Have vision of man in space suit striding out across Martian desert, being persued by anxious elfinsafety official insisting that he wear a safety goggles, ear defenders and a hi-viz vest over his space suit, in case he trips and sprains his ankle.
Not to mention a sight of craters protected by safety barriers and signs saying "Caution: crater."
and there's all the paperwork, and the men that have to check the electrical equipment every 6 months, and the legionella checks, and making sure the fire extinguishers are Ok. And do the PCs' antivirus software cope with Martian viruses ?
Come on, there's a damn fine FP to be written here.
Not to mention Martian immigration control, proof of public liability insurance for the spacecraft and the need for an environmental impact assessment.
"A NASA spokesman was quated yesterday as saying "Oh, bollocks to it all. Bugger Mars. Let's just keep chugging round and round in the ISS until the crew get bored or the money runs out."
