Waddingtons, makers of board games including such national treasures as Monopoly, today released the latest new game to the High Street outlets. Called “Where’s Our Prime Minister”, the game for up to 6 players is based around players having to locate the Prime Minister. At a press release today the makers described the challenges facing players “For example, at a time of backbench rebellion and complete lack of control of his own party, players might find the PM ‘Overseas and relaxed’. Whereas, when the UK has just suffered a horrific terrorist attack, increasingly violent far right demonstrations, escalating violence against minority groups and heightened inter-cultural tensions, more advanced players might find the PM … overseas enjoying a family holiday”. Questions from the press did finally bring the game designer to admit that some scenarios are maybe a bit unbelievable, but it is “often the most unexpected situations that players find most challenging”.
