"Policices are a disaster" said UKIP leader Nigel Farage. "The Conservatives have policies and everyone hates them because no-one likes their policies. The Liberal Democrats have policies but there is no point in that because they don't stick to them. And Labour have no policies whatever and they are doing even better than we are."
"Policies? Who Needs Policies?" Says Farage

Funny, but add some more oomph to the strap line so I can give you more stars? Farage says policies no longer welcome in this country?..
think this with sillybugger's headline is a NiB winner. good bit of satire as it gets to the heart of UKIP. I saw that among their "policies" was to have lots of new High Speed Rail links all over the place, but also a right of veto for every village it goes near. I think that's known as promising people they can have their cake and eat it.
maybe if it needs more for a NiB you could include a list of such nonsense that they do promise. "everyone to have a pint and a smoke whenever they like, and ban hangovers and cancer." or alternatively "Instead of policies, we offer an endless series of soundbites, photos of beer, and an unrivalled collection of ex-Showaddywaddy jackets for the crucial lapel-lover vote".
@sillybugger: You may be right - I appreciate the theme behind your suggested title. Too late for edit unfortunately.
re submit - you know you are worth it and UKIP are going to be smugging it up all week
I'm with sillybugger.

In political terms, that is High Speed Rail with a lot of "U" turns.
Great sub, great ideas. Go for the full monty, Titus.
[er, I mean try to get a submission accepted for FP; I don't mean stand there starkers with it waving about in the wind, FFS]
