In a controversial move by Sussex authorities, the elderly are to be loaded with popular phone games Angry Birds and Candy Crush to make them less boring.
The latest move follows the recent installation of sat nav applications and is the brain-child of the teenage ‘Old People’ Czar appointed by Sussex last month. She said: “Care of the elderly is a very sensitive and important issue. Currently, grandchildren don’t want to care for smelly, old grandparents, because they’re boring. Whereas Angry Birds isn’t, even if it is a bit old-hat now.
“I like Candy Crush better, it’s less boring,” she added.
