Derek Jacobi is not a sitcom actor and is completely devoid of any zaney characteristics and wit that a sitcom actor desires. Does anyone remember his portrayal of Jackson Hedley in the "Fraiser" episode "The Show Must Go Off"? I can think of many theatre stars that could have played that part to his theatric standard (he was playing an inept theatric actor that Frasier and Niles admired in their childhood) and been funny at the same time. His attempt at humour was forced, ironically like his character's theatrics. "Vicious" exploits his lack of comedic talent, and much like the name of the episode of "Frasier" that starred Jacobi; The show must go off.
The worst sitcom ever?

Vicious. Do fuck off.
For once, Brian Sewell gets it exactly right.
Oh for goodness sake. Are you telling me Brain Sewell is gay too? Where will it end?
In our house he's always been known as 'brown sewage.' Says a lot about us.
