The Hobo-centric movie studio VanVision Tramp have announced that they are 'rebooting' their successful Vagabond franchise.
"We're really existed about this new chapter" Mumbled studio head honcho Dirty Jim, "Vagabond is really needs updating for a younger audience who weren't even born during the hey days of such films as Thunderbird or Diamond White is Forever. Bringing a fresh, well, freshish, well differently dirty, face in gives us an opportunity to tell the Vagabond story anew."
However many fans have criticised the decision not to continue the long running tradition of employing elderly bearded Scottish gentlemen of the road as the homeless spy, fan-club founder Old Jack was disappointed to note that new star Crazy Frank "seems often intelligible, if I can understand the dialogue clearly then this detracts from the history of the series", a visibly angry Old Jack then proceeded to shout at passing cars.
Dirty Jim has sought to calm fears that the character would be much different "The catchphrases will still be there, y'know the whole the name's Vagabond, James Vagabond stuff - the fans love that stuff", pausing for dramatic effect and to ask a passing couple for 57p Dirty Jim did admit that a recent sponsorship deal would see Vagabond no longer ask for his favourite tipple of 'special brew, not shaken but warm' but would instead be drinking Jacobs Creek Shiraz Rosé. From a shoe.
The premier of 'Goldschlager' will, yet again, be taking place in London's Leicester square, behind the bins around the back of Lucky Chinese Restaurant.
