Just wondering what the preferred method is with me being quite new here.

When doing a rewrite is it best to start a new sub or add to the original sub?

Either/or really, there are no house rules - I prefer to start a new sub, some rewrite the original (if the edit function doesn't time out) while others add the rewrite as a comment.

As the bastard edit bastard button bastard times out after an hour (or bastard something),
you'll probably have to start a new bastard sub.And you can not mention it's a rewrite, so the people who missed it the first time will score you higher. However, those who did see it previously will scorn you and mark you poorly - it's a bastard minefield.

Ooh such language for someone so recently married!
I think the edit period is 6 hours.Posted 2 years ago # -
cheers
I did a bigger rewrite of my DeAgostini Internet sub the other day but just added it as a reply to the original and I was paranoid I'd done it wrong when I've seen other people since posting new subs with Repost in the title.

Don't forget to put the funny in.

I wasn't sure what to do, either, Mr Svendo. Someone suggested I write a longer version of a sub, so I did and labelled it 'rewrite', just to distinguish it from the original.
I don't think there are particular 'rules' about these things. Good luck, anyway!
