In a valuable exercise in spreading the blame, the government has asked the public how to instigate cuts in finances. 'Sacking bank CEO's was rejected as 'impractical'. The Chancellor said: 'we have rejected most of the public's suggestions as they are not as wise as ours. Generally, the public seem to know nothing but will appreciate the cuts we have planned'.
'It is good to include the public, where possible', said Mr Osborne, 'but, so often, they just don't have a clue. I am glad I am not a member of the public. They are so fucking stupid.'
