The 'Super Fox' has thumbs so it can turn keys and open doors and windows at night. Originally escaped from a research lab breeding more cunning foxes for the hunt they now form organised gangs in some towns. A security spokesman said its understood the lab has received funding from Iran.

The locals think it is some sort of giant fox;
