Red faced Media Munchkins are to hold an inquiry after playing the wrong song at their organised hate festival.
As Marxist misanthropes and mockney misogynists put on an exhibition of all the worst traits in the human race, nobody noticed that they were sneering at the death of the wrong scapegoat. Their chosen anthem, Ding Dong the Witch is Dead, marks the death of the Wicked Witch of the East in a musical starring a young Judy Garland. But the target of their neurosis was an old lady they had dubbed The Wicked Witch of the West.
Some festival goers didn't notice, other didn't care. But many historians were appalled at the lack of attention to detail in people who think they should be running the country. "I was looking forward to an afternoon of Medieval Misogyny, in which we drove a coach and horses through our image of being the nice party," said Timmy May-Bowles, "but this musical cock up proves we're less organised than North Korea."
