The new government pilot scheme aimed at getting the long term sick or injured back into suitable work has be heavily criticised by several major organisations in the aviation industry. A spokesperson for the UK Civil Aviation Authority claimed that flying a plane was far more difficult than pushing trolleys all day despite the largely sedentary nature of the work. A junior minister, when pressed on the claims, said that a new 2 week Job Centre Plus course would be available on talking posh into a microphone and that should put these minor objections to bed.
