David Cameron has put forward a motion to re-introduce the Poor Law Amendment Act of 1834 in a bid to keep the poor off the streets.
After reading several books on the Victorian workhouse system Cameron revealed he couldn't see any downside to "letting the oiks work off debt". In a statement read to the house he promoted the idea under the key themes of reducing national debt, kick starting British industry and reducing the number of unemployed. The Prime Minister is also moving to have original Industrial Revolution era machinery installed after reading that many of the workers were killed in the workplace.
The PM continued "Once again our near-slave labour can be the envyof the world and you never know, we might even attract big names like Nike".
Nick Clegg commented "huh, what, yeah whatever he said. Have you got any sweets?".
