   Was this one from the computer generated system of recent fame? It ticks all the Daily Mail boxes: thieving and stupid teenager from the north, hard-pressed policeman, sanctimonious moral lesson for us all. If he had got cancer as a result, then been cured by drinking green tea, it would have been perfect.
