The Chief Medical Officer expressed concerns over the increased drug-resistance of laughter and giggling. Recreational drugs are just losing the ability to reduce users to stumbling, giggling and laughing shadows of their former selves, “something needs to be urgently done to remedy the situation,” she told the Commons Recreational Committee.
