With the BP share price sliding down a greasy slope, the latest news is that Before Petroleum appears to have capped, at least temporarily, the Gulf coast oil spill and are pumping up to 10k barrels a day. This has far exceeded the original estimate of 5k barrels per day leakage into the sea at time the 'Deepwater Horizon' oilrig in mid-April was destroyed.
A BP Spin doctor stated the productivity gains were 'immense', although some financial analysts remained scepitical stating that 'with this sort of productivity gain, there should never be an oil crisis (making reference to past miracles involving J. Christ, oil-free fish and bread).
