Fairly often there are helpful suggestions for improvement or correction of subs. Some of these suggestions are adopted by the originator but often before I have seen the original. This prevents me from viewing the original and getting benefit from seeing the changes. How about using the chat room to place a copy of the original there for all to see and and allow comparison to be made.
I'm thinking this would apply to changes of content not spelling and grammar fixes.

I'd go further. I've noticed recently that when I wake up in the morning, the internet has changed slightly overnight - different news stories, naked ladies repositioned, etc etc.
It would be very handy if the whole internet could be placed on the chat room for all to see, allowing comparisons to be made using a simple Unix binary compare tool such as "diff" or "knob", or just a quick visual "once over".
I'm thinking this would apply to spelling and grammar fixes especially.

Good point Weematt.
Government White Papers too should appear in the chat room. All too often we don't have access to feedback and policies just slip through which affect all of our lives.
Had the fox hunting White Paper appeared here on Newsbiscuit our babies would not be being dragged from their cots into suburban lairs.

MD, tres, tres amusant. I notice the same thing about the Interwebs. Oftentimes, the free porn is not where I left it the night before.

I noticed that too and recommend printing it all off before bedtime, two points though:
- you run out of the yellow ink very quickly
- wife tends to get a bit frosty if you leave it all over the sitting room floorPosted 2 months ago # -
Lens, true, true. She'll also notice when your Kleenex bill equals half of your disposable (!) income.
