offlineMemberI disagree. The FP doesn't always have to be laugh uproariously funny to be good, and it was the quality of the writing, the fact that this story was adjusted and edited following suggestions, and the concept that appealed to me.
Thankfully, we don't all share precisely the same sense of humour. Then we'd end up with nothing but knob and fart jokes.

offlineMemberThanks Jeni, I have now realised that it was the absence of knobs and farts that upset me. It pays to seek help in this forum. I hope VCG will remember to include the odd knob in future and if it can be combined with a fart so much the better. Seriously though, I agree that FPs don't have to be uproariously funny but I always hope to be at minimum mildly amused or offended. On this rare occasion nothing happened for me except the feeling that the sub was not at all funny and so not FP-worthy.
To Nunnion Splendacular: Not being fat and a heroin addict I did not find the sub offensive. Just did not find it funny to the extent that I wonder what others found funny. I am prepared to be convinced. I think I found it a bit sad.
