Labour Councillors want support to build a sacrificial alter to honor former prime minister Margret thatcher in home town of Grantham. Grantham Local Sue Smithson said "it could be a great way to bring in tourism and bathe in the blood of the innocent beneath the pale moonlight", Michael Harlow another Grantham resident said "It would be a great way to commemorate not just the first female prime minister, but give Grantham some home town pride and also allow locals to receive strength through eating the hearts of our enemies whilst commemorating a really great prime minister."
The alter will include a large marble statue of former prime minister and will be thought to increase revenues in the town Grantham. However despite the support across grantham some members speak out against it. Local John Haversham is against the idea, "with Harvest so close upon us we should be honoring the gods not Thatcher with the blood of virgins, even if she was a dynamite prime minister". With arguments both for and against the statue, whether the streets of Grantham will run red with blood will remains to be seen.
