It came as no surprise that Ant and Dec were today named as the new Pope. The one on the left said, “it was the next natural step for us, given that we are already more famous than God”.
The one on the right said “we want to bring religion to the people through maximum exposure on a Saturday night”.
A spokesman from ITV said there was no truth in recent rumours about the Pope’s exposure on a Saturday night or any night of the week.

Surely Antandec will be providing the commentary for the forthcoming Big God-Botherers' House show, when cardinals, in response to viewers' votes, will be evicted one-by-one each week, until the final survivor becomes Pope?
I'm no good at Geordie, but I can imagine a statement like "Deh six, an' the cairdinals are doon to jus' fowerteen ..."
