   I am pretty sure the site isn't moderated. A moderated forum wouldn't post stuff until it had been checked. There is an Admin who deletes spam and unwanted posts.

   No moderator, nor has there ever been.

   The Admin (formerly "Nice Admin Lady") will remove any posts that are overly abusive or where the poster has consistently been abusive, and will bar any poster who is consistently abusive.

   But we're a self-regulating site, and it works pretty well on the whole.

   There isn’t a moderator, the reference to the moderator was a joke by shaggy pretending that something had been removed for being anti-Labour.

   I can vaguely remember one case where a thread was removed (not counting the spam that gets removed) but it was followed by a comment from the editorial team explaining why they’d removed it.

   In all my many years of NB (too many too count, and too few FPs etc) that's the only instance of something being removed that I can think of.
