Fans of 1980s ecology are today celebrating the announcement that Acid Rain is planning a comeback tour.
The 80s pollution by-product and alleged threat to the planet was huge at the time, but its popularity soon waned as it was overtaken by other environmental threats such as Global Warming.
'I remember the glory days of Acid Rain' said former Friends of the Earth protester Richie Campbell. 'That tour of the US, Canada and Northern Europe is legendary. Cor, it caused some damage in those days.'
Current Greenpeace protester Alex Martin agreed 'I've attended hundreds of Global Warming rallies but we’re all big fans of the old Acid Rain days. I can't wait to see Acid Rain. Hopefully the Hole in the Ozone Layer will make a comeback as well.'
