The Palace is delighted to report that the Duchess of Cambridge is completely untroubled by recent unflattering statements. "Consider the source" Kate is reported to have murmured "it is a bit like the Daily Mail calling one intolerant"

There is some uncertainty as to the exact identity of the Duchess' detractor, but it is believed to be one of the individuals shown below.

Experts in this sort of thing say the one on the left seems far too nice to be saying nasty things about Kate.

I hope no animals were hurt in the making of that photo. The one on the right seems to be passing a rather large poo. The eyes of the one in the middle seem to follow me around the room - and, no, I'm not fantasising.

ta jenlon - I see your point re grammar, but I chose 'consider' because the phrase "consider the source" is often used as an elegant rebuttal or dismissal of a scientific argument or critic's review. For example:

"A literary masterpiece!" - The Daily Mirror
"There are no weapons of mass destruction" - Alistair Campbell
