As scribbler has already pointed out, if you think it's funny when you write it, it must be comedy gold.

Have you got my mobile? I could fascinate your listener (single listener...for comedy effect) with an angry rant about how fucking brilliant this is, perhaps offer to ruin Lane's prettyboy looks forever live on air, for comedy effect.

You'd be in on it J, you'd say things like 'leave him, he's not worth it' or 'stamp on his face forever'. Then we'd both piss ourselves and tell the listener (singular again, for continuity) he's wasted an hour of his life.
