Labour has proposed a sensational -100% tax rate; doubling every working person's wages. The only caveat to the policy is that they lose the election. A spokesman explained; "We've learnt from the lib-dem experience; we've made it quite clear that some policies would only be adopted if we lose the election."

If elected they will be immediately "shocked" by the state of the country's finances and be forced to renege on all promises except the ones they made to the party's donors
