How about Dobbingate? Or perhaps better still, Paddockgate? Or Stablegate (although that would be stable door of course).

Actually, it's a good point. The horsemeat scandal doesn't yet have a catchy, universally-agreed one-word title for the benefit of the tabloids and more importantly their readers.

If NB comes up with a good one, what are the chances of us getting it generally adopted and then being proudly able to claim the credit?
